Whereas toss means to throw, as toss a ball or some object. The two words are not related at all.Is shrug and toss antonyms or snyonyms?
Then how else would you find a word similar word to another (synonym) and word that contrasts it (antonym)?Is shrug and toss antonyms or snyonyms?
Really they are neither antonyms nor synonyms. I suppose you could "force" them to be synonyms and suggest that someone "tossed their shoulders back" or "shrugged their shoulders", but again...I don't think the two are either synonyms nor antonyms.
