How about: gloomy, cheerless, depressed, dull, sombre, spiritless, dismal, melancholy, mournful, morose, discontented, disconsolate, glum, woeful, wretched. There's fifteen words, they all are the equivalent of the word 'sad' or not looking forward to, because enthusiasm is also happiness in a way.
