Do you know any antonyms to the words: quay, brambles, and anoint?

I'm doing vocabulary for a class. I need to find the antonyms for:

Quay

Brambles

Anoint

Thanks!Do you know any antonyms to the words: quay, brambles, and anoint?
There aren't any ( http://www.synonym.com/antonym/ )

antonyms are words opposite in meaning to another. Fast is an antonym of slow.

this usually refers to adjectives - - Good is the opposite of evil.

it's hard to do antonyms for nouns - what's the opposite of bed or desk or stapler? - - see, it makes no sense.

:o)
cliff

velvet

curse

As for libation: abstinence or teetotalling of course.

Take 2. Okay, geniuses: the universal scheme of things is predicated on duality. Each thing is defined by its opposite. Thus light exists only through the opposition of shadow; good, through through the opposition of evil, etc. As words occupy the same universe, the same principle holds. If the dictionary's definition of a word doesn't seem to admit an opposite, one must look beyond the dictionary's denotations, and explore a word's connotations. This substratum of meaning--all that a word implies or symbolizes--will invariably suggest word(s) which symbolize opposite qualities.Do you know any antonyms to the words: quay, brambles, and anoint?
what is a quay? is it a dock?

Brambles... Smooth leaf bush? "smooth rock?"

anoint..... condemn?

Yes, a dock, wharf. Then maybe "an inlet?" A dock sticks out into the water from the land, at an inlet, the land goes in.

And a libation would be some kind of refreshing drink, maybe with the connotation of a blessing? (I didn't look it up)

So, a cup of ashes? A poisonous drink?

The person who wrote that it's hard to find antonyms for these sorts of nouns is right. I'm wondering where are you getting this question?Do you know any antonyms to the words: quay, brambles, and anoint?
quay - quayless

brambles - unwooded treeless

anoint - unanointed
I'm not sure these really have antonyms....quay is a dock of some sort and brambles are thorny bushes....anoint is to bless...
